Ang The Grepor Butch Belgica Story—also known as The Butch Belgica Story— ay ang biopic ng isang spoiled brat delinquent na nakilala bilang pinaka-batang gang leader of his time (which was during the Marcos era) and being so, nakapatay siya ng kapwa teenager but he was tried as an adult at nakulong for more than 12 years.
Inside prison, he retains his notoriety as a troublemaker.
Nang isapelikula ito noong 1995, laya at converted into a preacher na si Belgica kaya’t kasali pa siya sa sumulat ng screenplay.
This film further sealed Joko’s status as an action prince in the 90s. Bagay kay Joko ang bida-kontrabida role niya dito at napatunayang he can deliver at the box office. Kaya naman nasundan pa ito ng maraming title roles gaya ng Boy Chico: Hulihin si Ben Tumbling at Anak ni Boy Negro.
The film, directed by Toto Natividad, was supported by an excellent cast that includes Ronaldo valdez, boots Anson Roa, Albert Martinez, Richard Bonin, Rez Cortez, Daniel Fernando, Bembol Roco, and leading ladies Ara Mina, Cristina Gonzales, Vina Morales, and the late Isabel Granada.
